I had a great experience learning Danish, however it is extremely difficult and you have to be willing to force the Danes to practice with you!

It's necessary to learn a bit of Danish. People are more keen on answering if they feel we do an effort. BUT: everybody speaks English!

The Danish learning was not going very well. I did not really choose any intensive local language courses, rather focused on studies of other subjects. As a result, I still cannot speak Danish after 6 months.

Since I´ve lived with danish students only and also taken courses that have been taught in Danish, I´ve had the opportunity to speak Danish daily, which most of the intern. students haven´t been able to.
