I have studied business and human resources management in Coventry University. At first i did not like the place as much as i had imagined, i can assume that the weather was the main reason for that.However after few months i got used to it and everything was fine. The course was interesting with some great modules such, Developing HR professionals, Contemporary issues in HR service delivery,Creating global and ethical Human Resources, some key chapters of my whole course were, change management, working psychology, well-being of the employees, motivation, psychological contract, personal development.
The professors were all professionals and always there to help students.They were answering each question accurately and they were open for a face-to-face meeting for further information. Coventry university is not actually a campus, however today a lot of things have changed. Coventry university has been voted modern university of the year in UK when i was studying which indicates the effort from the management for further improvements.
The life there as i have explained before was a bit tough at the start of my career but then was really good.
The university's services were fine, with libraries, sports center, academic office etc. Sometimes i was struggling a bit with some papers( confirmation letters, financial issues) generally bureaucracy but today as i am more mature i can say that sometimes i was wrong and inpatient  and that's why i was dissatisfied.  In overall i am happy with my university career and i have gained a lot of experience and knowledge as well which will further enhance my career opportunities for the future.

I am currently studying International Business Management at Coventry University since 2018 and I personally advise anyone to go for it.
Studying here touch me a lot,  from dealing with international problem relative to culture, to be able to understand and explain how a certain problem happened and how to resolve it.
Based on my experience, the teaching system is completely different from the french or Italian or Moroccan system and that is something positive that will help you survive in all types of environment.
The campus is in all aspects international from the different clubs and shops to the ceremonies and galas organised by the student union.
An infinite number of societies to join and learn from having fun and discovering new aspects of different views.
A lot of trips organised by the faculty that help bring outside the learning developed in class.
What can I say, studying there is something I am proud of.

Birmingham Airport is really near and direct train and bus connection is available. Central location in England, good if you want to travel, also Coventry has its own airport and good connections by train too. Warwick castle was very nice, make sure you visit it! The universitys International office arranges trips to UK places and abroad too. Don't loose your nerves on the first few week with the enrolment and introductions and hassle, because it's a big school. The introduction week for international students is a nice way to meet the exchange students, and all the student union activities get you close to the British too. But be active, they won't come walking to you if you won't make an effort.. :D Go with an open mind and don't expect anything, just take it as it comes and make the best of it.

Royaume-Uni, Licence
Géographie, 2020
Évaluation globale
The aim of the BSc Geography course is to provide students with experiential learning, including field work, to develop knowledge and understanding of physical environments. Graduates will understand the evolution and significance of the distinctiveness of places and environments, and the inter- relationships between people and climate, ecosystems, and landscapes. As part of their studies students will develop specialist science research skills. A BSc Geography graduate possesses a substantive depth of knowledge through specialisation within sub-fields of the subject such as hydrology, ecology, earth system sciences, climatology, quaternary science and environmental management.
First academic year provides a thorough grounding in the basic content, principles, methods and techniques of the subject, using the exploration of issues of current concern in the discipline as a way of introducing students to the study of geography at degree level.
  Geosystems , Landscape and Introduction to Disasters modules have  provided an innovative and interdisciplinary study of Earth System Science by offering an introduction to the geological, geomorphological and climatic processes affecting the Earth over different time and spatial scales;  The three modules also draws upon information from physical, chemistry and math disciplines as it investigates the role of nature in causing global change.
  A Globalising World,Sustainable Britain modules have described the Impact of Socio-economic and International Trade on National Environment.
  Numerical & Spatial Skills for Geography, Field and Higher Education Skills modules develop spatial analyzing techniques, geographical computer science(GIS) and statistics in academic research that are essential in understanding basic geographical knowledge and conducting fieldwork.
Second academic year, emphasis is switched to the study of concepts, themes and approaches.  Level 2 modules therefore adopt a more systematic approach, examining competing explanations of change in the principal areas of the subject.
Climate Change: the Science and the Symptoms, the structure of the atmosphere has been explored in terms of natural physics and enhanced greenhouse states. Natural and anthropogenic forcing factors will be explored and the effects that a changing climate has on the biosphere have been discussed. The history and development of the science of climatology will also be introduced. The module also examines the development, future and effectiveness of national and international climate change policy.
  Rivers & Coasts module aims to provide students with an understanding of the processes operating in both fluvial and coastal systems, and their management with physics and chemistry study.
  Biogeography, Ecology and Ecosystem has applied and appraised approaches to understanding ecosystem and habitat function and description major theories underpinning species distributions and interactions.
Applied GIS & Remote Sensing module has analyzed and critiqued open source and proprietary software for GIS and image processing utilised for data handling, analysis, presentation and interpretation of digital geospatial data. Apply knowledge and software techniques to a variety of datasets to generate geographical outputs.
Final academic year of the program encourages the development of independent and critical thinking and seeks to increase the students' awareness of the wider relevance of their subject knowledge and expertise. As an independent learner, demonstrating written, oral, visual, numerical and digital competence, time management and team working skills
  Environmental Management and Assessment module has discussed the feasibility of sustainable development in the framework of macro-economy, social science, national legislation and statistical management methods.
  Biodiversity and Conservation module critically reviews the conservation of biodiversity in a global context and evaluates how conservation value may be determined. Whilst, assimilates and applies the different criteria for designation of conservation status (to both species and habitats) at a local and global scale.
  Environmental Pollution and Mitigation module has focused on that Identify potential pollutant sources and discuss their impacts; Critically evaluate techniques used for monitoring and investigation of environmental pollution; Examine the application of relevant environmental legislation and policies; Review methods of control and mitigation used to deal with environmental pollution and evaluate their application.
  Applied Geomorphology: Theory and Practice is concerned with understanding how knowledge of physical geography is used to manage [sub-] surface geomorphological processes in urban and agrarian environments. It thus provides practical support for environmental and engineering decision-making, from project planning to site investigation and design. This module explores various spatiotemporal settings to better help develop site models and explaining the distribution and characteristics of certain ground-related problems in periglacial and arid regions.
The module explores key concepts that underpin our efforts to clarify the causes, mechanisms and consequences of landform change, and the techniques that are available to geomorphologists when working in the field, laboratory or through remote sensing.

Plastic waste- a story about the modern day problem
paul h
Royaume-Uni, Licence
Marketing et Gestion de Ventes, 2020
Évaluation globale
One of the most relevant problem planet Earth is currently facing is the plastic waste issue.
In 2016, Europe produced 60 million tonnes of waste alone, with an overall of 335 million tonnes worldwide. Plastic packaging represents 26% of the total volume of all plastic used and in Europe only 30 % per year is collected for recycling with a 39% being incinerated and the rest 31% ends up in landfills (Microbial Biotechnology, 2019).
United Kingdom is a country that consider itself to be a nation of recyclers as data shows that over 86% of UK consumers say that they recycle food packaging (Mintel, 2018) and also the government has putted in motion its 25 year plan to improve the environment as a there has been a strong interest in buying loose products and for the supermarkets to have plastic free aisles ( HM Government,2018).

OBJECTIVES
- To understand how many consumers, purchase products that are environmentally friendly and what factors influenced the buying decision;
- To understand how plastic free products have been perceived by consumers in terms of demand and options available;
- To gather views on the food packaging in terms of affordability, efficiency and environmentally friendly.
- To understand if customers understand how to recycle.
SAMPLE
-Questionnaire will be send to customers who own loyal cards and/or have purchased plastic free packing products in the last 12 months from supermarkets such as Iceland, Tesco and Waitrose.
-A focus group of 60 people will be split into 4 groups. A Mintel (2018) report states that 91% of consumers believe recycling does indeed make a difference, however this statement weakens amongst younger age groups so based on this, the first group will contain male and females from 19-35 with low income while the second group will contain male and females aged 36-55 with higher income.

QUALITATIVE
For the focus group, 60 customers with different demographics (age, gender, income) as well as psychographics such as lifestyle, are invited and separated into 4 groups. They will be asked a variety of questions and asked to share their opinions about the food packaging prior being given the opportunity to see and touch the plastic free new packaging.
Issues Discussed:
-Which parts of the packaging are recyclable;
-Consumers perception about the brand based on the packaging;
-The relevance of the packaging when purchasing the product;
-Consumers attitude towards purchasing plastic free products;
-Difference between plastic free packaging and normal packaging.

Testing: Customers will be told to range and comment the products packaging. Each customer will be given a few samples of different products with different size of packaging. Customers will be asked to rate the samples on a scale from 1 to 10 based on how simple the packaging is, how easy to recycle is and how effective it is.
-Organic packaging as alternative;
-Perception of the target market;
-Looks of packaging and perception of it;
-Price.

QUANTITATIVE
The questionnaire will be given to those customers who purchased plastic free packaging products within the past 12 months. For this questionnaire, Likert-style set question are used with a 1-5 scale with 1 being the least important and 5 being the most important.
-Price is an important factor when purchasing a new vehicle;
-I would buy organic packaging products instead of normal packaging products;
-I have strong environmentally friendly views;
-I am satisfied with the products I buy;
-I am satisfied with the way I recycle;
-Organic packaging products are harder to find;
-I actively look for plastic free packaging products;
-I look after low price products, not environmentally friendly;
-Organic packaging products cost more.

Classification Questions
1)Gender
2)Income
3)Age
4) Normal packaging avoidance
