This is a university where the courses are of a very high standard. A perfect place for those who want to benefit from the academic point of view. For those who want to earn money it is also a good place. If you want to have fun, Spain is cheaper and better

When you are buying a telephone card please be aware that the amount of time you have on your card theoretically is very often much smaller in practice. Traveling in Denmark is extremely expensive, so I woud suggest buying a second- hand bike immediatelly upn arrival. There are police auctions in Copenhagen where you can buy a bike for a reasonable price

No. I knew almost everything of the important things to know because I had some friends already studying at DTU in Demark.

DTU is a great university. Good means and good education. Quite big catalog of courses in english. Far away from Copenhagen so distractions are not close!!

I really enjoyed my Eramus experience in Demark. I enjoyed so much that I repeat this year again. It is a calm country but for me it is perfect. I have made good friends and it was an experience I recommend to everybody. Watch out!!! It is very cold and not much light but if you do not care much about this you will find out a wonderful country.

Maybe I should have picked a better time within my studies. I think that I went too early (after the 2nd year, without any degree, or pre diploma certificate)

It looks ugly in a pure concrete-gray style, but the equipment and teachin/learning environment is verry good!

Come here in Summer, Copenhagen is a cold and windy city. But it still is one of the most beatiful and cosmopolitan places in Europe: Lots of good Music, extremely beatiful girls and located close to the ocean. The country itself is really small, clean and modern, but travelling to Sweden and Norway gives a lot of new inspirations!

If u travel a lot in the city, by a monthly ticket. Read some information regarding activities in the town, so you want miss something that you are particularly eager to go to. A very good idea is to buy a second hand bike on arrival, or fetch one from home. Bike lights are mandatory at night! You can use also the city bikes in Copenhagen, located at different stands in the city. You need a 20kr. piece to insert, which you get back when attach the bike to another stand. It's really cool using them. This way you can browse all the city. (beware, you should have front and rear lights for biking at night). Take a boat trip along the channels, there is a cheaper one from Holmens Kirke.

As a Swiss make your Residence Permit long enough in Switzerland already. Because I had to extend mine in Denmark, which was very annoying and time-consuming.

Copenhagen is a good base for trips all over Scandinavia. I made several trips to Sweden, and also to Tallinn (Estonia) and Helsinki (Finland). Public transportation is good, but rather expensive.

Look in the newspaper "Politiken" on Tuesdays. GREAT traveling opportunities (really cheap!) are offered.
