I had the fortune to live with 2 other girls whom I became very good friends with. It was a relief not to have a landlord living in the house.
The maintenance was horrible. Our shower drain was clogged a big part of the time and even though we called about it, it took a very long time (about a month) before it was fixed. After it was fixed the drain clogged quite quickly again.

I wish I had known about all the environmental engineering/chemistry courses given at DTU, because then I would have started there earlier instead of studying at my home university.

When there were difficulties in understanding danish, the danes spoke slower. When the danes couldn't understand me I spoke slower, tried to find the danish word (if it was not the same in swedish) or said it in english.
