Personal comments
Not really, but before going shopping, it's good to study the prices. For groceries store, let's go to Netto or Aldi.
Choose cleverly the place to go out because some of them are free somme of the nights of the week. e.g. Vega for disco on Fridays and Saturdays. Student House on Wednesday evening

Final comments
To there from France, the bus (Eurolines) is quite cheap but also long and tiring, otherwise planes are not bad but you cannot bring too much luggageswith you.
It's easy to go travelling in the other scandinavian countries where you are there bt also really expensive.

Languages
Language of instruction: English
Was learning English a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't.
How much did you improve your English?
My level before: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.)
My level after: At ease in most situations
Language difficulties
Administrative / Institutional
Personal comments
Learning Danish was a challenge but not a necessity, thank god because it's a really hard language. After two month of courses I was able to understand some ideas listenind to the radio and also to understand some writing things.
For the language of instruction (English) it was not really a problem before arriving and it was even easier after the journey.

Personal comments
Th facilities were not really good, one shower and one bathroom for 10 people and the common kitchen was so small, it was really annoying and a little bit noisy. But there was also a lot of other faoreign students so that I was happy to meet them and share some great timewith them in this place

I think all the place in Copenhagen are really great to go out. The bar "Moos" is a great place to drink cheap beer and meet people on Thursday and Saturday nights but quite croudy all the time.
For the discos, I think that the Australian bar is good, as Vega. But it really depends on the moment so that the best is to go and have a look for instant information.
