In the Philippines the people speak english and besides that they have "Tagalog" their native language. But about 90% speaks english very well. Also it is very common to speak english in everyday life. Since I have been taught English from elementary on, my level was good.

Language was no problem as nearly all of the people working and studying in the University, speak good English.

No problems. If ever a teacher would clarify anything in Tagalish, he would then tell me in English after.
