Living and Studying in Spain
Tochukwu B
Spain, Graduate
Business Studies, 2019
Overall
I have lived in the UK for 9 years before i chose to come and do a masters degree in Spain, so far so good; I am enjoying the experience I am getting from studying in Madrid. The courses are well thought out and taught, the lecturers are more approachable and the city is really nice to live and study in connecting you with a wide range of people from different cultures and backgrounds. My only problem with the school is they could do better in helping the international student secure internships, seeing as its one of the requirements to get the full masters degree.

Ostelea Tourism and Hotel management school
Alessandro N
Spain, Graduate
Tourism, 2024
Overall
The review is about Ostelea, which is an affiliate of EAE business school, and as they share a campus in Barcelona is good to say that the premises are well organized and equipped, the staff is also friendly and careful during the pandemic times.
The school gives a basic understanding of all the areas involved with tourism and leisure activities to help students to position themselves in a constantly changing business environment and its internationality allows them to know different cultures.

enough nice places around, you will find out yourself, but the football games in the barcelona stdium are quite fun, don´t buy the tickets at the normal route but go to the stadium and when the game started you can get very cheap tickets at the best places in the stadium. Enough socios willing to take you into the stadium. i saw both barca madrid games at first gol for 40 euros

The Nottingham Trent University, Nottingham, United Kingdom
Business Studies, Undergraduate, Erasmus
Overall
I wish I had known...
How small the university is!! We were told it was smaller than nottingham trent but not how much smaller. Coming from such a large institution it did take quite a bit of getting used to. It would have also been nice to know more about which areas are safer to live in, cheaper to live in or have a larger student population. But you do get to find out after a while.

I enjoyed it but it was quite different to university in England. The teachers are all very helpful if you do have any difficulties. Some speak english too. The only thing that really dissappointed me was the size, but overall I enjoyed it. I would recommend doing more than one semester (6 months) as it does take a while before you really start mixing with the spanish students and the time does go really quickly.

Try not to go to agencies for accommodation (or just find somewhere for the first month) as they do charge commision etc. It also means that you are tied to a contract. If you do, id suggest rentabedroom.com or habitatgejove. Also you need to register with them early to get prioerity for viewing and accepting places. Travel is cheap and you can buy a metro ticket that lasts 3 months which is even cheaper. If you arrive in the summer, try and visit some other areas in cataluña:Sitges, Tarragona etc. Try and get to know as many people as possible. A bar called Cam Pumki have an erasmus night every thursday.

Facilidad académica.

Overall

Mon experience a EAE BUSINESS SCHOOL
Djazia A

Overall
