The Australian bar at Hôtel de Ville called "Down Under" is fabulous! We also visited Fish Club and The First a couple of times, cool places if you want to dance, but too loud music if you want to talk!

It was difficult to find a proper place to live due to Lyon's high number of students. I found something on my own and was very pleased with that, but now that I know the city I probably would have chosen something else if I was to go back.

French people in general don't speak English very well, and as my level of French is limited it got quite complicated sometimes. The best way of learning a new language is living in the country, and at the end of my stay I felt that I was able to handle the French language pretty ok. Most of my professors at school were English or American, so I think that I also improved my level of English during the stay.
