Don´t get me started!! Best of all is Danzatoria Tibidabo, which is an amazing discotheque in the north of Barça (very close to my house); then there is Club Danzatoria, another great disco at Port Olympico. Salsitas is a third hip disco close to the Rambla (same owner). Otto Suds is another very popular discotheque, as is MareMagnum at the port, but the latter is mainly for tourists. Excellent bars are the Champagneria in Barceloneta, where everybody tries (and succeeds) to get drunk before going out (which is necessary because prices are unaffordable for students - 8 bucks for whiskey in the discos). Plaza Reial has cafe Reial, very trendy, Jambourrey, an R&B disco, and some private bars with entry by knocking on the door. Very close is the Oveja Negra (black sheep), a really popular bar where drinks go in 2l. jars instead of glasses. Then there is the London Bar, very popular near the Ramblas, and City Hall, a disco near plaza Cataluña, for afterparties

Stay away from Las Ramblas for nightlife. As you will hear from native Barcelonans, no Spanairds go to las Ramblas. There are much better places to go in Gracia and all around the city. There is so much to see and do in Barcelona that you could spend a year there and still not cover everything. Definitely spend a day relaxing at Parc Guell, a daytrip to the beaches of Sitges, walk down las Ramblas during the day (watch your wallet), take the bus tour (its expensive but well worth it), see Sagrada Familia, go up to the castle at Montjuic for some beautiful views, watch the light show at the fountains on the base of Montjuic on Fridays or Saturdays around 8 o'clock at night, etc. Other than that, just walk around and soak in all the beautiful architecture.

My favourite night spot was certainly the Danzatoria. It is a very trendy bar (actually it looks more like a club) with different levels with different rooms with different music and a beautiful garden. It is very nice to hang out there. You always have a good time. Just looking at the people is fun. Besides this I liked Paloma, which is a big dancing hall. These are my two favourites. Besides this I also liked going out in my own street (Maria Cubi), which is really famous for the bars and discos for students.

the amount off clubs in Barcelona is huge - best: Danzatoria, Sutton, Carpe Diem, Otto Zutz, - so many nice clubs - music mainly hiphop - nightlife starts very late - don´t go to a disco before 2h - a lot of sights as well - I liked the Miró museum, Sagrada Familia, Parc Guell and the beach - Tapas: Cerveceria Catalunya

there are concerts and parties in an old theater called la Paloma plus a serie of bars and disco: la terraza, rita blues... Anyway, to make sure you don't miss a thing, you can read la "guia del ocio" a monthly little magazine that tells you everything about the nightlife of the month

Barcelona ia wonderful city full of opportunities for social life and interaction between people. All parts of the city are full of pubs , cafè and discos. Moreover the fact it is a very international city allows contacts and meetings between people from many parts of the world.
