Personal comments
The local language was Dutch, but to learn it was not a goal. The aim was to improve English. Considering DUtch people are bilingual, English was like another local language. My English improved more after 5 months in Holland than after 5 years studying.

The students residence (International House) was located really close to University. Moreover, there was a great International atmosphere, and this is what you look for when you go abroad. Finally, the rooms were really big and comfortable.
