Challenging and life changing
Zeinah A
Belgium, Graduate
Cinematography, 2017
Overall
I accomplished my masters degree with Erasmus Mundus program in Europe. I graduated from Brussels, LUCA school of arts.

The program was very challenging on all levels, I had to study, exchange experiences and cooperate with people coming from all around the world. My teachers were coming from 3 universities in 3 countries, which was very enriching.

Careers
it was very challenging after graduation, because now we had to face the real market and life, and art market is very challenging now adays.

I could find an internship. but it wasn't enough to build some experience. My university didn't give advices where to start from and how can we find jobs and what jobs could be the best to start by in purpose of building experience and better future career.

Travel a lot: you´re next to a lot of different countries. If you know several languages, it would be easier for you to find a job, Brussels is a very cosmopolitan city!

- Check out the Belgian scholarship exchange programs in your own country. - Stay in a youth hostel or with friends when you first arrive, go for walks in areas you like & look for for-rent-signs in the windows. - Second-hand bookshops are abundant and mostly quite cheap. - The Film Museum!!!!!!! - If you have asthma or other respiratory problems, consider going somewhere else instead. The air in Brussels is NOT good for you...

Overall
Erasmus college provides the studies of Idea & Innovation Management which is unique: in Flanders, they are the first and only that focuses entirely on innovative entrepreneurship. This means they belong to a very select group worldwide.
I am happy to be one of a students of IIM and get the higher quality education!
