“A school for leaders”

OverallEBS is a school for business leaders. They once had a controversial ad asking if you dream of eating a burger or owning a burger chain. That describes the way of teaching practiced here. The focus is more on case studies and logical thinking, not necessarily learning formulas and charts by heart. The school values networking above all, is very flexible and reasonable.

Estonian is a quite difficult (14 cases) but very interesting language. You will no need it for the daily life in Tallinn as nearly everyone can speak English, but it's nice to have notion about what is written in a newspaper or what people in the street are talking about. At university your perfectly come along with a profund English knowledge as the whole international BBA or MBA is in English.

Be sure to join up with the Erasmus Students Network at TPU...they will be quite welcoming and organise many social events. EBS, however, are a little slack in that department.

Course recommendations
I have been the pioneer, as italian student to go there. I think that by now courses must surely have been improved and broadened. I would advice to choose different courses taught by teachers coming from different backgrounds as me (I had teachers from NY-USA, Russia, Finland, Sweden, Estonia and even Ghana!).

The level of English in my host counry was pretty high,escpecially among the toung people.In my University almost all the course were in English so wasn't difficult to choose my courses.
