Favorite place to drink: Cafe Kaheksa, Juuksur or Liivalaias. Favorite club Riff, Venus, Angel. Good place to eat: the Sushi bars, cafe Nimeta, Noku (member card needed) and the Island (narva mnt 7).

I studied at a private university, founded by Canadian teachers, within the International bachelor. I had no problems because everybody spoke gladly English both inside and outside the academic life.

EBS has no campus and it is really convenient to live in or near the Old Town

I enjoyed learning some of a completely foreign tongue, and tried to use it, rather than english, where possible. The locals, particularly the older sections of the community appreciated it.

I heard that the university ripped off some other students by making them pay large commissions to find them rooms in very average apartments.
