I have a very good overall opinion about this experience!
If you want to travel, no pb, there are plenty of bus companies providing daily trips around Ireland, for quite a cheap price (£10 average)
Then, inside the University, you have the weekenders society, which a student union, organizing group trips all around Ireland, for really cheap!
