Student Pub in the university is a good place to have fun. Besides, there are pubs and discos in the city center. But if you are coming from a bigger city than Halmstad, you might be disappointed. However, even though Halmstad is not a big city, there are considerable amount of activities to choose.

Halmstad has the best beaches in sweden,its one of the favourite tourist destination in sweden.Tylosand beach and beach at Östra strandan are butiful in summer.The City center is on the banks of the river Nissan flowing through the city. There are numerous picnic spots in and around Halmstad.Summer in Halmstad flourishes with alot of activites.

students pub: very cheap for Sweden; twice a week movienight of the university: very cheap videos: different prices throughout town, but in general very cheap

Best Place Centrum and Hotel Laxen,Best place to visit banks of Nissan River and the Cetral Library

We could play football in the university at night, so it was great, but the life is over around 6 pm, so we couldn't go to cafes or bars except the weekend where the nightclubs are closing around 3am
