If you travel in Norway, you get almost always a student discount - even though the personal at the train stations is not always aware of that - fight for it!

I enjoyed my stay very much - so I extended my stay from one semester to tow (and so did several others!)!!!
I did not have much problems, but if there are ever once, just contact the international office - they help with guarantee!

In school English was the only language I used. Most of the Norwegian speak quiet well English, so communication thin the country is no problem. On the other side, this situation didn't force me too often to use and improve my Norwegian.

¿Por qué?
Oslo is in terms of costs for housing extremly expensive. To pay a privat accomondation is almost impossible. Therefor the student residence halls are the only once affordable for exchange students.

To live in the students recidence halls maens to share kitchen, shower and toillett with 13 to 17 other people, with is not as bad as it might sound.It's often a good mix of local and exchange students

A party starts in Norway with a so called "Vorspiel", with is a gethering of friends at the place of one of them to start drinking (in bars, discos,...everything is expensive-you can't afford too much!). On Thurthday nights is the little weekend - big Party in the Campus club!
