Iceland is different and it is fun!
Bring warm clothes and enough money. Travel as fast as you can if you are going fallsemester, cause snow comes early and roads get closed.Be social and just have fun!

Languages
Language of instruction: English
Was learning English a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't.
How much did you improve your English?
My level before: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.)
My level after: At ease in most situations
Language difficulties
Administrative / Institutional
Personal comments
At the beggining it´s quite difficult to express yourself in english. But in a few weeks you can talk fluent english with no problem. The Icelandic it´s different because for people that talk a latin languaje (like me) it´s very difficult to talk fluent Icelandic. But I think that, in one year I would start to talk without feeling shy.

Type of housing: A room exchange
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: A room exchange
Why?
