The best place to go out is Kaivohone, in Kaivopuisto park, the best cafe is cafe Explanade near Explanade Market, you shouldn't miss the Night of Arts at the end of August.

Final comments
You should travel to Talin (Estonia), Stockolm and San Petesburg. Finland is a good place to travel arround as well. There are many ways to reach your travel aims, train, bus, Ferry, but you shouldn't forget your student card and you should try to get the Finnish student car as well to get discounts.
