Because most exams are at the end of the semester you have a whole semester time for travelling and living. EHSAL is great, especially the international office (Dirk Van Waelderen)

If you want to travel during your international student experience Brussels is great, because there are cheap flights to great destinations and with the THALYS you can reach Paris within 1,5 hours.
There is a public transport card available for students (costs only 25€ for the whole year). Just ask the international office!

Most often I used english, as it was the instruction language! I also followed a french course, to refresh my skills in french, but in fact you don't necessarily need french in everyday life.
