My favourite bar in Amsterdam: Coco's Outback. In spite of the slogan (lousy food & warm beer) a really nice place to hang out in & watch some football.
Also the student parties in the city are awesome. Meander, dansen bij jansen & atrium. A must if in Amsterdam.
