Personal comments
It is possible to manage in English almost in every situation in Amsterdam. In addition, after few weeks I was able to understand written and also a bit of spoken language (Dutch) because of previous language knowledge of German, Swedish and English. So even the information written in Dutch was quite clear for me.

Personal comments
It was nice to have the whole house for the exhange students. The house was pretty ok but the rent was too high. I also would have like to have also Dutch students living in the same place. The distance to the center was long but train connections were pretty good.
