Best International Experience

In my time at Hunter College, my experience was something you can only experience in a city university campus; in New York City, that means a very non-traditional "American Campus." Classes were offered that sparked intrigue and fascination, there were programs that challenged and encouraged future professionals in all fields. The main campus itself consisted of four buildings places among three city block corners that offered a great cardio challenge if your classes were at opposite ends of the campus. The diversity of the student body is also a treasure for Hunter College. Everyone you meet is from a different part of the world and has a very unique story to tell. I treasured my time at Hunter College for these reasons and for the culture it brought to my life.

I wish I had known...
If only I had known I would be interested in learning French, I would have taken a French course in high school in Japan...(but starting it here in the U.S. was not that bad)

Final comments
I assert that studying abroad IS one of the best life experiences you can have as a student. You get to learn a whole new set of aspects about the world, society, cultures and even yourself. I could not be who I am now if I had not been fortunate enough to have this wonderful opportunity---to come to New York City, learn what there is out there in the world, and widen my cultural perspective.
