At first I thought I may have some communication problems but when I set up there I found myself very comfortable all respecting communication. I didn't find so many problems and when I found them, local students helped me to solve them.

I spoke mainly English with my student friends..I also lived about two months with certain senegalese people..near Cite Universitaire..They didn t speak English so we spoke French most of the time..and it was good..then, I had also a summer job after the studies..with multi-cultural environment..there, we spoke great deal of French and English, all mixed..In total, it was just great..

My french has improved a lot and I even learned how to switch between english and french which was quite difficult in the beginning.

French is not as hard as you might expect, and the french course for erasmus, which is compulsory, is really really easy, so no need to worry
