Personal recommendation
It was a good university, but it was difficult to find teachers! It was quite isolated and if you lose the 6pm bus you're 30min on foot to the city. There's boxing, aerobic lessons for free in South Campus.

I wish I had known...
All I didn't know was part of the magic of the place, because I discovered it there, and if i had known it before going there it would have made dissapear some of the charm of a new experience abroad, and being my first experience abroad it teached me lots of things, a part of academic and language skills.

Personal recommendation
I would recommend to discover all the aspects of irish life, getting mixed with all the students, the local ones and the international, obviously is easier with international but I strongly recommend to get mixed also with local students. From my point of view the ITTralee should organize more things for the international students because sometimes you feel that they are there just to answer your questions rather than for proposing activities, so if going there is better to have iniciative and try to organize thing oneself with other students rather than waiting international office do it for you.

Great experience not to miss, mostly if you have never lived away from home, this experience will learn you many many things. Meet lots of people, parties are incredible, travel a lot (backpacker with low-cost companies is the best choice to get more fun with mates and save some money), enjoy all the time you will spend there (obviously you will have to study, but there is time for everything, you will see)

Personal comments
I knew it wouldnt easy to begin there because my english was basic, and I didnt really understand a lot. I was very lucky because I was living with two nice foreign people (an Irish boy and a German girl) and I also chose not to hang out with the rest of spanish people at university. So although at the beginning was hard, I was improving pretty fast.
