BA (Hons) Fine Art
IT S
Ireland, Undergraduate
, 2020
Overall
One of the worst experiences of my life.

The tutors there are complete bullies and make the most inappropriate comments towards students. There have been countless complaints by students to the college and no change, the same tutors have been there for years and are not suited to the job.

I have been laughed at by tutors, gaslit and was a victim of bullying on many occassions there. This is a brutal course run by the some of the most horrible people I have ever met.

If you want to know more about this course, people have written reviews in detail about the fine art department at IT Sligo. You can access it here: https://www.boards.ie/discussion/2056553921/fine-art-sligo-it

Pros
None, the experience was horrible.
Cons
Re-evaluate the course, i.e., does the college need it? The drop out rate is extremely high and the year I completed the course there were three times the tutors to students in fourth year.
