the ISCTE is a faculty, different from a business school, where i am in paris. Concerning the admistrative papers, it was not easy at the begining, because it takes a long time, and the admistrative office is quite slow

Try to improve the level of Spoken English of the teachers a little bit. This will make communication in class sometimes easier.

The univerity is really good. I don't have a real reccomendation for it. The variety of courses is sufficient, the Professorr are very good and friendly, the international relatons office is one of the best i know, they are very very helpful with everything. The programm they provide already for the students is very good and if they continue to improve it it will just get even better.

I had the greatest six month in my life. This semester was so perfect that i can't really describe it. I can promise that if you go to Portugal and especially Lisbon and study at ISCTE you will be not dissapointed. Travel, party, social life and academic improvements you will all get in Portugal. The country is very easy and good to travel around, because it is not very big, the prices are quite good and portugal has a lot to over. A coastline from north to south, the atlantic, very beautiful Algarve...and one reccomendation...if you are into surfing it is the country to be. Have a great time in Portugal.

I'm political student at ISCTE and I love this course because I learning about democracies, political institutions, political history and have the theoretical part of data analysis. I do comparative politics projects in the curricular unit.
In conclusion, it is a practical course with an excellent theoretical part in which I learn a lot

Telephone and Housing are simply cheaper than in Germany. The Nightlife is almost the same price than in Germany but i did go out ten times more than in Germany. Travelling is much cheaper than in Germany, especially public transportation like trains and busses.

Personal comments
A surprise was that the Nightlife is quite expensive for Portugal. At least in the clubs the prices are almost the same price than in Germany (3euros/beer). A saving tip is not to go out that often but who wants that ???? :-) The most money you can save if you take a little bit more time to find a proper appartement because living can be really cheap in portugal and lisbon.
