Personal comments
I would have loved to learn more Hungarian, but I had many other things to study and many social activities to do, so I ended up learning just the basics.
I improved my English skills, which were already ok, and for the first time I attended classes taught in Russian, my second language of instruction, which was an experience I really needed and though it wasn't easy, it helped improve - for the first time I was communicating in Russian out of the textbook.

Well as for the phone, cos I really needed my mobile to stay in touch with the other students, while at home I dont use it much.
For the rest, the cost of life for most things is much lower than in Italy, especially for food it is like half! We went to eat out really often cos we could have a good meal at a good restaurant for the equivalent of 5-6 euros!!!

Overall
I wish I had known...
Hm that I was going to turn into a sociable being... then I would have chosen less courses to follow!!!
More seriously, I wish we had been told in advance that accommodation in dorms wasnt available...We found out only when we were there that we all had to look for flats, no choice... That's ok, but we didn't expect it!!!

Final comments
I dont have much more to add really... Travelling there is quite easy, well Hungarian trains are quite slow and you always have to change in Budapest, which can make travelling take a long time even if the country is so small...but nevermind... Budapest is worth a ton visits, and you just can't leave Szeged withouth having taken at least a daily trip to Serbia, the border lies like 25 km away! And Romania is pretty close too!
To reach Hungary, there are low cost flies from SkyEurope, and I found out tday that wizzair closed the connection Milano (Orio)/Budapest...a real shame! Plane is the best way to get there, BP is the only airport but connections to Szeged are frequent.

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose:
Why?
Personal comments
We couldn't be hosted in dorms so we were helped to find private apartments to rent. It wasn't so easy but it was a good experience, to learn how to deal with a rent contract and to share the apartment with another person.

Oh wow...I had never thought I would enjoy Erasmus Nightlife, being a quite introvert person...but the group was so good that even I couldn't miss our parties and nights out... The places were so cosy, we mainly were at Jate or Szote, I preferred Jate though. I didn't like a place called Gin Tonic, mainly frequented by Medicine students, it was a bit posh and I didnt like the music. The real even for me were the monthly 80s party at Jate and Black Factory Club at Colibri, on this parties my favourite musci was played (electronic,80s,dark...Depeche Mode mainly!) and it was just an amazing feeling I don't want to ever forget.
In Szeged I learnt how to enjoy partying, sometimes I would have partied less but I just couldnt help following the other lovely Erasmus in their adventures... An extremely important experience in my life in terms of social relationships
