FINLAND IS VERY EXPENSIVE!!! Of course I spent more on travelling because when you are abroad you definitely want to see the country and not just sit at home.But going out...you can spend a lot!

Travel with the Student Union they quite often organize trips that are much much cheaper.You get discount with your Finnish studentcard on trains.There are some secondhand shops with a lot of stuff.

Bepop was ok,not always good music,Kerubi was "interesting",Palaveri is a nice pub(kind of Irish pub)-be aware beer is very expensive and other alcohols too in Finland

For the phone, i only have a prepaid card, while at home i can talk as much as i want, and the bill comes at the end of each month!

In Finland the official language is finish but everybody (90%) of population speak english and in the university all is in english.That was no problem
