Germany, Undergraduate Business Studies, 2021
Overall
The course was very enriching and interesting. There is a lot of freedom to choose your modules and to specialize. Unfortunately, the organization and structure were sometimes very poor, which was to the disadvantage of the students. Furthermore, some professors were not competent enough to teach (a lot of errors in the script, a lot of errors in exercises and calculations).

“Postgrad programm (MA) in English in Germany”

Germany, Graduate , 2020
Overall
I was lucky enough to find and to get enrolled into one of the few English taught Master degree programms in Germany. It is called Modern East Asian Studies, and it accommodates both students with a B.A. degree in Asia related cultural studies, and students with a B.A. degree in economics, law or social sciences.
During two years of intensive studies in the MEAS program, students will not only mature to experts on modern Asia, but also develop methodological, theoretical as well as soft skills in interdisciplinary team work. With its structure of three tracks, the MEAS M.A. title qualifies for an academic career as well as a professional career in international enterprises and organizations.

Pros
relevant courses on East Asian Politics, Law and Economics with in-depth oriental language classes.
Cons
Two years are not enough to make a complex language like Chinese or Japanese to an expert level if a postgrad student had no previous knowledge of it prior to starting the programm. Best suited for BA Japanologists / Sinologists.
