I come from Ireland were everything is fairly expensive I found Linz cheap for everyting thats including clothes, shoes and everyday basics, I could never spend as much as I do at home in Linz.

Share a room, way cheaper. Go to cheap shops which are easily assessable for bred and milk but do not buy meat there!!! Bring travaller cheques with you and withdraw as much money as you can from the ATM din't go aften as you will lose three to four Euro each time!!

Hungary is a cheaper country as Austria. Our wages are low, and so are the prices.

I bought my food always in Hungary, so I could spare a lot of money. We often cooked together with other students and it made our food costs also lower.
