Housing: I used to live at my parent's! Telephone: we all lived in the same area and rather had a bike ride than a phone call!Nightlife: more nightlife when not at parent's house! Food: used to be more expensive than in France (not true anymore because of price war in Dutch supermarkets)

Books are far more expensive than in France (cf. French law on book prices) and not always available in the university libraries! Many computers available at university. Pay attention: in some banks, you need to pay to close your account before the end of the first year after its opening!

Food is cheap in ALDI. I spent more in the other categories, because I pay nothing for my place in Spain, I went out everyday so that's a lot of money, and I travelled a lot as well.

It is easier to travel from the NL than from Austria. And as I lived at home until my exchange year, I didn´t have any accomodation expenses.

Phone and travel are vwery expensive, but I was really impressed by the nightlife... it's so cheap! Most of the times you don't pay to enter are drinks are CHEAP (expecially the beer)
