Personal comments
perfectly situated, very close to Covent Garden (London). Security very good and lots of people to meet.Unfortunately no student bar/assembly room to socialise; and then far too many fire alarms (often in the middle of the night, sometimes twice in the same night..)

apparently studenthouse organise really cheap travels for students (Scotland/Isle of Sky etc.); also coach travels are not too expensive when you invest in a coach travel card which is about £10

Academic
Course recommendations
European Law was really interesting and so was Human Rights Law. Apparently tort is really stressful, Criminology was o.k. but not particularly interesting (although both lecturers were really good!)

Internet access is free at university, luckily there was a university building just accross the road from my student halls which was accessible 24 hours a day; cost saving quite hard in London
