Idiomas
Idioma de instrucción: Inglés
¿Fue aprender Inglés fue un factor importante de elección?
No, no lo fue.
Comentario personal
I knew no Danish at all before I went. Although my classes were in English, I felt that I had to learn Danish because I was living with Danish students and it was frustrating not understanding them all the time. It is also very useful for everyday life in Denmark to be able to communicate in Dansih. Copenhagen University provide Danish courses for all foreign students and they are great! I left Denmark with a pretty good knowledge of Danish.

I bought a second hand TV for 250DKK on a Danish internet site for buying and selling second hand goods. Also staying in student halls of residence is by far the cheapest accomodation

Estudios
Recomendaciones de cursos
International criminal law, international human rights law and war crimes are all good. Environmental is boring and Understanding the Reasoning of the EC Court & Energy law are difficult. DO THE DANISH LANGUAGE COURSE! It's so much fun!!

Si lo hubiera sabido...
Ask for help finding where to go for your residence permit and social security number - or you'll never find the buildings!

Factores imporantes para mi elección
(1) Sin importancia – (4) Muy importante
Recomendación personal
Copenhagen University is a beautiful University in a beautiful city. It is not a campus University, so you don't always feel like a student, but you are more integrated in city life.

Try to spend time with Danes and learn their language and you will probably get more from the experience than if you just stick with fellow international students.

Vida estudiantil
Cómo es la ciudad de destino:
Los estudiantes se relacionan con la comunidad local sin implicación en la universidad

Experiencia de vida social
Comentario personal
I mostly went to parties in the hall of residence. These were organised by student committees and we also had our own bar. It was much cheaper than going to the clubs in town (which can be very expensive) and was more fun than the student house where all the international students go because there was more of a mix of people (Danes and foreign students).

Alojamiento
Tipo de alojamiento: Independent Student Hall of Residence
Organizado por: Universidad de intercambio
Si volviera, eligiría: Independent Student Hall of Residence
¿Por qué?
The facilities were excellent and the social life at the halls was great and it was a good way to meet local students.

Comentario personal
Copenhagen University place most foreign students in family homes, etc. But they do have some places in student halls (kollegium), so if you get offered a place - grab it! Life in the halls, living with Danish students, was excellent.
