The University of Lapland at Rovaniemi, on the Arctic
Circle, is the most northern university in Finland and the
European Union.
It is a diversified centre for education and research, where
science and arts come together in a unique fashion. The
four faculties of education, law, social sciences and art and
design - both combined and as separate units - all form an
aggregate that will creatively meet the challenges of the
