-it is COLD THERE!!! Prepare for that!
-it is DARK DARK DARK in Rovaniemi. If you cannot stand it don't go. Although I hate darkness, living with 90 internationals was a great way not to think about it :)
-do not worry if Finnish people don't talk with you in English or Finnish - they are just like that!!!

All international students lived there and even though it was far from the University (40 minutes walking, 15 on bike) it was the best place!!!
