Student bars are not amazing, but cheap prices make up for that. Otherwise there are a lot of 'trendy' bars in town.

Although for some students it can be hard to find accomodation straight away due to the high demand, the conditions are excellent. There is a good atmosphere in the corridors and it is a good way to make friends. The rooms are also well furnished and spacious.

It is small but nice town with enough nightlife to keep you entertained, and if not, it is very well situated geographically to travel to Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm, Goteborg and Helsinki.

Final comments
Try and sort out your residence premit before going to save time and hassle. Don't shop in the small supermarkets.

Personal comments
One of the most obvious points is that the Swedes have an extremely good level of English. This means conversations will most likley lead to English and so to practice Swedish takes an extra effort. Otherwise, it is a failry simple lanugage gramatically, but not the easiest for pronunciation.
