I speak English, also before going there and the university was pretty English oriented, which made it harder for me to motivate myself to learn the local language. I tried however with an intensive language course at the beginning of the semester

Final comments
nice to travel up to the north, kiruna. Travel with friends and rent a car to go to other places, such as Norway and Denmark.
