The Appartments for students were luxurious around the place where I lived, but some of my friends had less luck and they had to live in old appartments that needed urgently to be repaired

found it very difficult to improve language skills as ,munich is such an international city and people were very keen to speak english to me. perhaps should have tried to get to know more locals.

Munchen is in the midle of Europe and you will have a lot of oppertunity to travel. Wiht in Germany "Schönes Wochenende ticket" is a good way to get around at the weekends.

Germany is a great place to live and study if you are a self-motivated person. It is not in the German psyche to hold your hand, even if you are from another country. One big anvantage is that 80-90% of educated germans speak english well enough to help you out.
