Ludwig Maximilians Universität München (LMU)

Munich is a heart of Bayern. It is beautiful city, which offer you many interesting cultural places: many museums, theaters, cinemas (IMAX is a special place!), nice bars, cafes and clubs. The lovely area of the university (Leopoldstrasse)is the best tip to go out.

Schall & Rauch - Best bar! Just around the corner from uni at Schellingstrasse Milch Bar - a club in Kunstpark Ost (an edge where it´s brilliant to go out) You always have something to do in Muenchen!

The university used to organize an international meeting for erasmus students every thursday, called MENSA, there I met almost all my friends there. The night life in Munich is quite good, although expensive, there are lots of nice cafes in Giselastrasse and Turkenstrasse. And the night spots, there are very famous discos, like Park Cafe, P1, etc, and a big big area with just only Clubs, called Ostbahnhof, some of them are: Milch bar, Rot Hause, Torero,...

Cafe An Der Uni has really good coffie. Perfect spots for pick-nicks in the Englische Garten or Olympiazentrum. Excellent sallad on the opposite side of Hofgräuhaus; next to Planet Hollywood.

got sucked into nights out with fellow english students - the leopoldstrasse area is great in schwabing, but there are many cool beer halls all around

Atomic Cafe, Biergärtens, Muffathalle for great party's, films are mostly in german... ;-( And we've had a lot of privat party's with erasmusstudents.
