It can be difficult to learn swedish because almost everyone speaks english. Swedish is not really needed to live in Lund. Actually the most of the swedes change to english when they realize you dont really master the lenguaje.

You should definitely use the chance to see a lot of the scandinavian countries! Go up north it's worth it!
