I am half swedish, so I mainly went to Sweden to improve my writting skills. I personally felt that my level after leaving the country was much higher. The language of instruction presents not too many difficulties for me. However, I learned new words, especially in the technical area.

This type of room is a single room including a small kitchenette and a bathroom with toilet, shower and sink. No common areas, besides the laundry room, are shared with other students.

Absolutely every student goes out in so called nations, the local student organizations run by students. You are member of one, but you can join any party or activity of all of them (about 12 as far as i can remember). My favorite was Östgöta, cos most exchanges students went there.

I couldn't learn the swedish language but I improved as much as I could my english. Again, in Sweden the english language is common like the local one
