Czech Republic, Undergraduate International Relations, 2021
Overall
Masaryk University offers a wide variety of courses in English language. The obligatory courses of my Bachelor’s programme (International Relations and European Politics) were very useful for understanding basic theories of IR and EU integration, World History, and International Economic Relations, as well as fundamentals of International Law. I also appreciate an opportunity to study basically any optional course that interests you, even if it’s from the different faculty. Examination methods are usually practice-oriented and perfectly trains research and analytical skills. Professors are experts in their field of study and are really engaged in initiating a dialogue with students. Brno itself is a comfortable city for studies and life, living standards there are good, while prices are decent. There are also more and more international students year by year. And there is a chance for English-speaking students to find a part-time working opportunity in Brno.

The department of my studies is indeed small but charming. It allows you to study on completely another level, with a individual approach of professionals. During my studies I have had multiple possibilities to travel and study abroad which is exactly what studying foreign languages is about. I can´t but reccomend.
