Most of the Finns speak a pretty good English. Communication is not a problem. Try to learn some Finnish, it's something I would do if I had to come back there.

Every lesson was in english and I had the opportunity to watch lots of movies in english. Another factor was the fact of being with international students during days and nights.

You definitely have to visit the HElsinki harbor and to go to Suomenlinna. Cafe Esplanadi is one of my favorite spots to chill out.
