my only advice for people who want to make it here is not to expect part time jobs as we need to know the local language very well.also,the students have special discounts in most of the travel and some other things also which we can make use of to the best.

You should have some money before going to Sweden. Take your time and travel around Sundsvall. The northen part is close, and also you can go south. Go skiing. They do have wonderful slopes almost everywhere (the best is Åre). Go and take a look to Ice Hotel in Kiruna.

Mithogskolan in Harnosand has a nice faculty. Sundsvall campus is very nice, very new. The architecture is unique and fun. The Mass Communication course is wonderful to take in an international atmosphere. We had 7 countries represented in our classroom. Gave a unique international perspective to the course. Very useful.

In the winter, there are only a few hours of sunlight so it is easy to get depressed. Make sure you do NOT stay at home, but make yourself get out with friends, participate in winter sports, etc. It makes it a wonderful experience.

Very good university, the courses for international students in communication are very useful and interesting. The teachers are well trained.

Travel: go to Stockholm,Kiruna (do the dog-sledging and snow-mobiling: it's once in a lifetime great experience) Norway, Estonia and Finland - it's all very close and it's worth it. Advice:be careful with your money.
