I have to begin with our favorite resturant...it is the Sugar Palm, Royal Thai Cuisine. It is located on Bridge rd. in North Richmond. We went there so much I think they started to know what we were going to order before we sat down! There are so many great places to eat and you can get anything you want for basically any price, from Italian to Vietnamese. As for night life, Melbourne provides so many options it is hard to chose. You can go dancing at QBH and Metro, or have a few beers at Bridie O'Rielly's (excellent for St. Patty's day) or take in a footy game at the MCG and then head to the casino. No matter what you do, you will have a great time and there will be something completely different for you to do tomorrow!

Wow this is so hard to pick as there are many places that I would say not to be missed. Wednesday nights at Frostbites on Chapel Stin South Yarra were always a good time. It was backpacker night so there were cheap drinks and there was a good cover bar. If you want a good dance club I would recommend going to Spy Lounge on King St in the city. For a good bar to relax and have a few drinks at would be E 55 on Elizabeth St. Flinder's lane has "heaps" of fun places to go out. You also cant miss the many hidden alley bars like Honkey Tonks that give Melbourne so much character.

Lygon Street is fabulous!! It's considered Little Italy and it has heaps of great restaurants, cafes, and pubs. CHAPEL street is a MUST for shopping! Chadstone mall is also the largest mall in this hemisphere! THe Notting Hill Bar is a univesity hang-out!! The VIctorian Market it also great!! Try to travel to the Grampians to rock climb and the Great Ocean Road is unbelievable. But the Penguin Parade in Phillip Island is over-rated!!

Favorite bars: The Lounge, Swanston st. / Lotus Bar, Toorak Rd. / Q Bar, Toorak Rd. / 161, Commercial Rd. / Blue Bar, Chapel St. / Night Club: Honky Tonk, Flinders Lane / Prince of Wales, Fitzroy st. Events: Melbourne Cup / Australian GP Places: Great Ocean Rd. / Torquay / Surinto / Gunamata / South East coast for some good surf / St Kilda area & Fitzroy area.

Bullring, Johnston St, Fitzroy- a nightclub with live bands (Latin Music) Moonlight Cinema in the Royal Botanical Gardens Winery Tour in the Yarra Valley!!!

Go to Revolvers on Chapel St, but get there before 10 so you don't have to pay cover. I also recomend taking swing lessons at Silvers on...chix dig swing dancing.
