I wish I knew that Nagpur was not the best place for exchange students and that my academic experience there would be nothing like the one I have in the States.

Trade books with travellers. Stay in Youth Hostels- bring your own sheet and pillow case. Ziploc bags for everything! Bargain!

For the most part, everyone speaks English in India. There was never an issue and everyone was very supportive of my trying to learn.
