Let yourself go in NY. the city will show you where to go and what to do...do not try to control the city! Be a part of the city...not a visitor!

I learned that doing your dishes without using the dishwasher can save you a lot of money and also unpluging everything and turning off the lights you're not using. Walk a lot. Cook instead of eating out. Use the internet instead of the phone. There are a lot of things i learned that helped save money.

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
Because I'm satisfied with what I have now, & if I want to move out, I'd still prefer to have an appartment maybe closer to campus. Other options do not appeal to me.

Well this is New York City, & the most vibrant & diverse city in the world maybe. But one of my preferred spots is an elegant restaurant & bar on Wooster & Houston in SoHo. A difinte recommendation to everyone.
