Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
While the conditions of living in a dorm were satisfying and much superior to the one's in Romania, I didn't particularly enjoy sharing facilities like toilet and kitchen.

Personal comments
Good conditions for a dorm, the price-quality aspect was balanced, the location was very well connected and you could easily reach important spots in town, including the university.
Overall clean place, although the part that the tenants were supposed to attend to not so much and also the shared facilities posed a problem.

Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
I would have choose a different area to live in, as there was other accomodations available in nicer areas of the city (yet not as close to the school) and the same price.

The accomodations were satisfactory. They were conveniently located next to the school and in good location to the rest of the city. The accomodations didn't have the best facilities, location or cleanliness about them.

Housing
Type of housing: student apartments in Kringsjå (Studentby)
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: again in student apartments somewhere in Oslo
Why?
It was a good place to be as a student: many other students to meet, good facilities designed for the students' needs.

It was well equipped; we had a gym, many laundries, many kindergarten, a post office and shops in the area of the student residences (Kringsjå Studentby consists of about 30 blocks with rooms and apartments solely for students). The price was good, especially for Norwegian standards! Kringsjå is at the northern end of Oslo and whithin a couple of minutes one can reach a very beautiful and popular lake in the bordering woodland. The public transport connections to go downtown are good (the T-bane (some kind of subway) goes there every 15 minutes and there is a near bus station. A good place for students!

It was pretty good. I was living with 7 other people in a student village, but I had my own room and living with some other people would helped me make friends with a lot of people. There were a lot of parties on weekends there so I never got bored.

All families were very nice and kind to me and they offered me the best living standard. I could see and compare all different ways of living, it enabled me to meet the family members, lead the conversation with them and get known Norway from all different points of view.
