My experience was that when you travel to a country that has a main language that you can´t comunicate in, it´s going to be more difficult to make friends of that country, not exchange students as you. But I understand, that´s why I tried to learn danish as far as I could.

The ESN-board was one of the bests points to get help from. They and my mentor were my "family" at the begining.

Because, sometimes you find the wrong roomate. Specially if you are in Denmark, danish people can be very cold and intolerant.

I think the accommodation is OK, The only thing I missed in my kollegiet was more "social life" and better comunications with the city center and the university, the kollegiet was pretty far from both places.
