Great university and incredible professors and teachers
Lori-Anna C
Bulgaria, Graduate
Philology, 2018
Overall
The course for my specialty which is English philology is delivered in English. We study the basics of translation from English to Bulgarian and vice versa. We also learn Englisn and American Literature, Morphology and many other subjects. The teachers are incredible professionals and eager to teach the students so much useful knowledge. The students are friendly and helpful if needed. The campus of the university is big and there are served a lot of delicious dishes. I recommend this university to all people who want to acquire good knowledge and to  build successful careers.

An interesting journey
Ivan D
Bulgaria, Undergraduate
Economics, 2023
Overall
Generally, the student life in Plovdiv has been so much fun. I enjoyed my time in the city and created many new friends. On the other hand, the pandemic happened when I was just starting university, so it was quite challeging for everyone, but we made it and these memories will last long for sure. University taught me a lot, and it was not the lectures only, but also the well maintained academic environment. My course was all about gaining understanding of economics, diving into the complex world of globalization, and taking a closer look at the economic trends in different regions.

Careers
I actually found out about the internships offered from my friends, who at the time studied a biology related course in the same university. Later, I got accepted for an internship as an assistant in The Consulate of the Czech Republic in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. To be fair, it was an honor for me. I learned many new things not only about the ongoing relations between these two countries, but also about the institutional functions of the Honorary Consulates.

For every administrative favor you have to wait or to pay money "under the table" in order someone to do what he has to do especially in government buildings.

Careers
